About & Vision

A Christ-centered vision for homeschooling that honors parents, cultivates character, and grows students in wisdom and truth.

Our Vision

The Vine Collective was formed out of a desire to cultivate a homeschool community that offers genuine fellowship, educational freedom, and age-aligned learning—where families are supported and guided, and where they can joyfully tailor their children’s education based on their needs.

We trust that God has given parents the wisdom to know what their child needs and that no one will ever care about a child’s education and formation more than their own parent, which is why we believe that the parent should always remain the main educator.  We also know that we can all use a helping hand, which is why we’ve crafted a curriculum that doesn’t overwhelm your child, but sets them up for success, all while keeping the ultimate authority in the hands of the parent.  Homeschooling is about freedom!

Most importantly, we know that many who choose to homeschool, do so out of a desire for the formation of their children’s character, maybe even more than their academic minds.  Therefore, we long to provide a space where we can really dive into the life and model of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and seek to emulate him in how we live and how we view our world.

From this perspective, our name, The Vine Collective, came to be.

Statement of Faith

We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and that the Bible is God’s inspired Word and our ultimate authority. We believe salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and we desire to follow Him in every area of life. As a community, we seek to love God and love others, honoring Christ in our learning and relationships.

“I am the vine; you are the branches.  Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” – John 15:5

Our Mission

At the heart of The Vine Collective is a simple mission:

Our mission is to cultivate a Christ-centered homeschool community that:

  • nurtures genuine fellowship in a supportive environment,
  • honors educational freedom by acknowledging parents as the primary educator, and
  • promotes age-aligned learning.

We believe students flourish when they are grounded spiritually, known personally, and accountable to one another in their learning.
