Academics & Curriculum
A Christ-centered, discussion-based curriculum designed to support—not replace—parents as primary educators.
The Vine Collective curriculum includes five subject areas.
These subjects earn high school credits that may be applied toward graduation requirements. Math and certain electives (such as foreign language) are not covered in our curriculum.
Families may choose to award elective credit for spiritual development classes, as well as for Debate and Logic. As with all homeschooling in North Carolina, each family remains responsible for maintaining transcripts and graduation records.
Five main subject components:
- Spiritual Development
- Science (using Apologia)
- History
- Literature, Composition & Grammar
- Logic, Rhetoric, & Debate
But what about math and science?
We have intentionally chosen not to include math, as students often progress at different levels. This allows families the flexibility to place their student appropriately while keeping community-day learning engaging and accessible for all students within the same grade.
