Program Overview

A weekly rhythm of discussion, accountability, and Christ-centered learning—designed to support parents and engage students in meaningful community.

A Thoughtful Rhythm for Learning, Community, and Formation

The Vine Collective meets one day per week for facilitator-led, discussion-based classes designed to support families homeschooling at the high-school level. Our program combines rigorous academics, spiritual formation, and meaningful peer interaction—while keeping parents firmly in the role of primary educators.

Weekly Structure

One Community Day. Intentional Learning. Lasting Formation.

  • Meeting Day: Once per week (anticipated Wednesdays)

  • Time: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Academic Year: 30 weeks (mid-August through early May)

  • Grades Served: 9–12 (beginning with 9th grade in 2026–2027)

Community Day is designed to be focused but relational—a place where students come prepared, engage deeply, and learn alongside peers in a supportive environment.

What Happens on Community Day

Discussion-Driven. Facilitator-Led. Student-Engaged.

Class time is intentionally reserved for what’s hardest to replicate at home: dialogue, collaboration, labs, debate, and discipleship.

A typical day may look like this (example only—final structure may vary by facilitator):

The Role of the Facilitator

Guide, Not Replacement

Facilitators are not replacing parents as teachers. Instead, they serve as:

  • Discussion leaders

  • Accountability guides

  • Subject-matter facilitators

  • Encouragers and mentors

Their role is to help students think clearly, speak thoughtfully, and engage respectfully, while supporting families with a cohesive academic framework.
